This is a translation for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) are small files a website saves on your device. Our website itself uses no analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across websites or visits. We count visits anonymously with our own tool and no cookies: a random visit number that disappears when you close the tab. The website stores only a few things some features need to work, and with your consent it loads a map from Google.
Essential
The website needs this data to work the way you have set it up. Under Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, we do not need your consent for it. The data stays only in your browser and is not sent anywhere, except for the staff login cookie (jd_admin), which your browser sends to our website.
| Name | Purpose | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| jd-souhlas | Remembers whether you allowed the Google map (with the “Show the map” button or on this page) or withdrew your consent. | browser storage | until you change your choice or delete it |
| jd-zvuk | Remembers whether you have the website sound turned on. | browser storage | until deleted |
| jd-jazyk | Remembers which language you want the website in: Czech, English, or German on pages that have a German version. | browser storage | until deleted |
| jd-rezim-volba | Passes your Diner / Club choice from a subpage to the home page. | session storage | deleted right after use |
| jd-menu-otevrene | When you switch the language in the mobile menu, keeps the menu open and the page where you were. | session storage | deleted right after use |
| jd_admin | Staff login to the reservation management system. Applies to staff only. | cookie | 30 days or until logout |
Visit and booking statistics
To see how the website is used and where our guests come from, we keep these in session storage. They aren’t cookies, they’re only sent to our own website and they disappear when you close the tab. Where the visit came from: for the length of your visit, the website remembers the name of the service or website that brought you here (for example “Google”, “Instagram” or “QR code on the table”). From the address you came from it keeps only this name, and no identifier that could be used to recognize you. The name stays in your browser and is sent to us together with a reservation you submit yourself (we store it with the reservation and use it only for aggregate booking statistics) and as the source of the visit in our anonymous visit counting. This does not depend on whether you allowed the Google map.
| Name | Purpose | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| jd-puvod | The name of the service or website that brought you here. | session storage | until you close the browser tab |
| jd-vstup | The address of the page you opened and the address you came from; only for a moment until the name of the service is derived from them. | session storage | deleted right after use |
| jd-navsteva | A random visit number for anonymous visit statistics: which pages were shown, how long the site was on screen and what was tapped. It holds nothing about you and isn’t linked to other visits. | session storage | until you close the browser tab |
| jd-navsteva-akce | The actions (such as call, directions, booking) already counted in this visit, so they aren’t counted twice. | session storage | until you close the browser tab |
With your consent
| Service | Purpose | Provider | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | The embedded map in the Contact section. When it loads, Google may store its own cookies and process your IP address. | Google Ireland Limited | under Google’s policies |
Without your consent, neither the map nor anything else from Google loads. Instead of the map, you will see a “Show the map” button: by pressing it, you agree to the map being loaded, and the website remembers your choice so the map loads right away next time. You can also find your way without the map using the link to the Maps app.
How to change your consent
You can withdraw or give your consent to the Google map at any time, right here. Withdrawing takes effect the next time a page loads; a map already open in another tab disappears once you reload it. You can also delete stored data in your browser settings.
